FUNDRAISER REPORT & ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF DONORS

   Rogue Flyfishers' annual fundraiser occurred on May 20th at the Red Lion Hotel. This event included a sit-down dinner, red and white wine on each dinner table (included in the $25 banquet fee), a silent auction and a live auction conducted by professional auctioneer Bryon Millard. In past years the club's annual steelhead tournament was held on the same day as the fundraiser auctions; however, this year the Board decided to have the tournament and auction as separate events, and this allowed full effort to be directed towards securing auction items. This year, both our silent and oral auctions featured more items and we netted more money to use for funding club projects. Last years auction portion of the combined event netted a little over $4000 while this years total is at $8500 and climbing, as the last of the items are delivered. A few remaining items will be sold over the internet in the coming weeks pushing us closer to our goal of $10,000.00.
   In this report you will find a financial summary and an acknowledgment of the many volunteers who worked long hours to solicit auction items, to make detailed plans for the evening events, and to set up the auction displays. A listing of donors and their donations is presented to gladly acknowledge the many club members and businesses that provided the auction goods and services.
